WIND-ELECTRIC SET Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2167336 C1

FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wind-electric set using energy of air flow or kinetic energy of moving water (such as water streams in canals, rivers, oceans, etc.) has windwheel-generator assembly, post, and concentrator made of light-weight flexible material; set has contracting inlet part and diffusing outlet one. Novelty is that set is provided with annular hinge, supporting platform, supporting ring, and rod. Diffuser has shell assembled of stiffness rings and longitudinal guides. Supporting platform is mounted horizontally and rigidly coupled with annular hinge installed in upper part of post. Supporting ring is mounted vertically and rigidly coupled with supporting platform. The latter mounts vertical rod that carries windwheel-generator assembly. Taper walls of diffuser are made of light-weight, low-cost material such as kapron fabric or polyethylene film. Heavy parts of set are placed as close as possible to post axis. EFFECT: improved reliability and wind flow utilization factor. 3 dwg
