METHOD OF PREPARATION OF NATURAL GAS FOR TRANSPORTATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: gas industry; preparation of natural gas for pipe line transportation under permafrost conditions. SUBSTANCE: method includes primary separation of gas, its compression, cooling, expansion to pressure at gas line inlet, low- temperature of soil. Low-temperature separation is performed at pressure below pressure of gas at gas line inlet (from 5.0 to 6.5 MPa) and temperature exceeding -20 C and -40 C, respectively, at value of dropping liquid carry-over ranging from 1.0 to 3.0 mg/cu.m, thus providing for pipe line transportation of gas in single-phase state. Then separation gas is finally compressed in compressor to pressure equal to that at gas line inlet. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
