SUBSTANCE: electric furnace includes body, loading devices, electrodes combined in groups and connected to different poles of current source; one group of electrodes is mounted on hearth of furnace and is connected to negative terminal of current source and electrodes of other group submerged in melted slag are connected to positive terminal and are located in succession.
