FIELD: medical microbiology; laboratory diagnoses of microbiocenosis disturbances in intestine. SUBSTANCE: method is based on subjecting colonies of enterobacteria grown on nutrient agar by inoculation of faeces to test, whether they possess capacity to inactivate commercially available human leucocytary interferon preparation taken in concentration 2 MBC for test culture Corynebacterium xerosis HISC No.181. With this approach, absence of anti-interferon activity in grown-up colonies testifies to eubiosis case, detection of said activity in 1-50% of colonies indicates to intestinal dysbiosis case, while detection of it in more than 50% of colonies indicates to intestinal infection case. Thus, method is based upon preliminary tentative estimation of intestinal microflora condition. Method can be used for mass-scale screening both for determining risk groups, and for making differential diagnoses of different conditions of intestinal microbiocenosis under complicated clinico-bacteriological conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
