FIELD: medical microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by cultivation of investigated bacterial cultures on solid nutrient media during 18-24 hr in order to manifest biological properties of bacteria. Bacterial cultures are inactivated in fume of chloroform. The second agar layer, comprising complement in concentration 5-20 haem. units/ml (serum mixture of 15-20 donors as complement is used) is deposited. Bacterial cultures are incubated at 37 C during 1 h. In this time anticomplementary action of bacteria and products of their activity occurs. Then the third agar layer is deposited. It comprises indicated culture of interic bacillus E. coli GISC, N 212 high-sensitive to bactericidal action of complement (clone 12/03, derivative from E. coli in R-form). Calculation of result is carried out in 18-24 h of incubation at 37 C on basis of growth areas of indicated culture around bacteria, where complement inactivation occurred. EFFECT: rise of safety of method.
