FIELD: elaborated study of structure and properties of elastic geological medium and its individual formations, direct search for prospecting and control over development of oil and gas fields. SUBSTANCE: forced harmonic vibrations continuous and unlimited in time are excited in studied volume of geological medium, process of formation of stationary wave field of superpositions of harmonic waves formed in studied volume of harmonic waves is recorded in points of this volume, time of event and parameters of vibrations of each wave which took part in formation of steady-state mode of forced harmonic vibrations of excited frequency are then reconstructed, Their values are used to evaluate parameters of studied volume of geological medium. EFFECT: increased efficiency and authenticity. 3 cl, 3 dwg
