SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysics. Method of broadband vibration seismic survey is to excite seismic vibrations in a geological environment by exposing it to a vibrating linear frequency-modulated (LFM) signal. Reaction of the geological environment is recorded on the vibration action in the form of a seismogram and the amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) of the geological medium is determined. AFC form of the seismogram that is desired to be obtained is determined, and the broadband vibration signal spectrum is calculated by dividing the AFC seismogram of the desired shape by the obtained AFC geological medium. Repeated excitation of seismic vibrations in geological environment by exposure to it with vibration frequency-modulated signal, having spectrum of calculated broadband signal, and recording of seismogram with AFC of desired shape.
EFFECT: invention can be used for prospecting and exploration of minerals.
