FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus is shown in Fig. 1 and comprises base 1 supporting two eyepieces 2 and shaft 3 which carries two lens holders 4 and sectors 5, lens holders being made in form of removable discs rotatable relative to each other. Similarly to spectacles, proposed apparatus is fastened to patient's head with help of stiff head belt 6. Openings formed in lens holders 4 serve to fasten spherical lenses and prisms, while openings formed in sectors 5 serve to fasten, arranged in sequential order following their increasing densities, red and green light filters, 3 mm-dia. diaphragm, Bagolini glasses, Maddox rod, and positive lenses having focal power of +5.0 and -10.0 dioptries. With help of forehead-embracing belt apparatus is fastened on patient's head before his (her) eyes and, by rotating lens holders and sectors, it is possible to insert into apparatus prisms with focal power of from 2 to 34 prismatic dioptries, lenses of +-0.25 +-15.0 dioptries, light filters diaphragm, Bagolini glasses and Maddox rod. Apparatus can be used for treating squint, accommodation spasm, myopia, for selecting spherical and prismatic corrective measures under conditions of ophthalmological wards, cabinets, specialized children's institutions and homes. It can become constant small-size tool for ophthalmologist-practitioner. Apparatus is delivered complete with set of test objects and projector.
