FIELD: medical engineering; magnetotherapy combined with mechanically pressing onto group of reflexogenic points according to Japanese traditional therapy SHIATSU. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises casing having plurality of uniformly spaced-apart compartments adapted to accommodate replaceable finger-shaped magnetically active elements which are made of various materials, viz. ferromagnetic, paramagnetic, diamagnetic and magnetic ones. Apparatus further comprises electromagnet capable of modulating magnetic field characterized both with permanent-field, and alternating-field parameters. Combinations of casing and active elements made from different materials make it possible to select electromechanical effects of different intensities and penetration depths depending on specific disease to be treated.
