FIELD: gas purification. SUBSTANCE: apparatus designed to free process releases from dust and hazardous gases contains box-type casing accommodating precipitation electrode units made up of cylindrical precipitation elements arranged in alternating order with wire corona electrodes disposed horizontally between adjacent sets of cylinders. When dust-laden gas flows through active zone of corona discharge, dust particles subjected to strong electric field are deposited on surface of precipitation electrode. At the same time, molecules of hazardous gases experience action of strong electric field and ozone generated in corona discharge. Cleaned air and oxidized hazardous gases are aspirated through blanch air duct. EFFECT: increased efficacy of cleaning air. 5 dwg
