FIELD: equipment for coiling tube or wire. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for coiling tube includes two drums, drive center, mechanisms for rotation and axial motion connected with said center, tube tension unit. Drums are mounted coaxially with shaft of drive center. Said mechanism for axial motion is in the form of carriage with tie rods and two tension units connected with feed screw with possibility of translation in parallel with drum axles. Gear clutch halves with pushers joined by means of chain and gear transmissions with drive center are mounted on ends of feed screw. One half of gear clutch is connected with shaft of drive center by means of chain transmission. Another half of gear clutch is connected with shaft by means of chain and gear transmissions. Tube tension units are mounted on tie rods of carriage with possibility of motion relative to drum axles. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 2 dwg
