THREADING DIE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: threading die has housing 1 with a central opening. Housing 1 is provided with grooves 2 for setting thread-forming members 3. The front sides of the members points in the axis of rotation of housing 1 with a shift. The sides of the housing have grooves wherein flanges 4 are received. The flanges are secured to housing 1, e.g. through screws 5. Along the generatrix of housing 1 are openings 6 used for receiving control- stop screws 7. Groove 6 and hollow 9 on the housing are used for locking and securing the threading die in the holder. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
