FIELD: railway transport; electric control of pneumatic brakes. SUBSTANCE: device has DC and ac voltage sources, brake control unit, check-up unit consisting of single-phase diode bridge, capacitor, voltage relay with making contact and three light indicators, control and checking wires, electric connectors and contacts built into coupling head of train pneumatic main line, and resistors which are placed in coupling head contact circuits. Resistors, voltage measuring unit and blocking diode are introduced additionally. Voltage measuring unit is made in form of bridge with resistors in three arms and voltage stabilizing diode in fourth arm. One diagonally opposite pair of junctions is connected to output of diode bridge, and the other diagonally opposite pair of junctions is connected to voltage relay coil through blocking diode.
