FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes two alternative versions for preparation tritium labelled QUATERNARY amine salts. Halogen may be substituted for tritium by reacting salt of the respective halogen-containing QUATERNARY amine with gaseous tritium. Halogen may also be initially substituted for tritium in the respective halogen containing precursor of quaternary amine salt, and the desired product may then be obtained from the resulting tritium labelled precursor thereof. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method.
