FIELD: heat treatment of pipes; applicable in flow-line production of cylinders and plungers of well pumps. SUBSTANCE: the offered method provides for thermodynamic equilibrium in continuously moving zone of heating due to axial load by pipe stretching. The device for embodiment of the offered method includes induction heater, sprayer, closed system of moving including winch connected by means of rope through additional blocks with grips of lower end of pipe and with upper end of pipe through blocks and regulating stretching block of tensioning and dosing of axial load. EFFECT: provision of high accuracy of pipes by straightness of hole axis in their heat treatment and reduced expenditures for straightening of products after heat treatment. 3 cl, 1 dwg
