FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: shuttle device has sewing hook with cylindrical inner annular rectangular bore for receiving bobbin holder, which is retained by guiding collar. Cylindrical surface of bore is provided with annular conical channel having two restricting ends. Trapezium-shaped split flexible ring is unidirectionally positioned into annular conical channel. Trapezium-shaped ring is arranged so that it closes inner part of bore to define annular guiding path for bobbin holder collar. Ring has conical outer surface and is free of bents. As a result bobbin holder has geometrically precise annular guiding path that may not be opened under any dynamic operating conditions of shuttle device. Guiding path is made uniform along the whole peripheral length equal to length of inner surface of sewing hook on diameter of rectangular bore. Cutting slots made in three surfaces embracing bobbin holder collar are adapted to cut and remove foreign thread. Axial gap in path may be regulated. Shuttle device may be repeatedly repaired. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified maintenance and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 cl, 11 dwg
