FIELD: hydraulic engineering; navigation locks in water ways. SUBSTANCE: navigation lock includes lock chamber with bottom at base and upstream and downstream ends, distributing water supply system made in form of water gallery provided with upstream and downstream gates located within lock chamber ends and communicated with upper water by means of inlet section and with downstream water by overflow section and with lock chamber by means of water outlets. Lock is also provided with connecting water line located in upstream end of lock chamber and used as inlet section of additional water system which connects additionally lock chamber with its downstream water. This connecting water line is provided with gate and is used for connecting the lock chamber with water gallery. Connection of additional water line with water gallery is located on downstream side of upstream gate of water gallery. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
