FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has cylinder with piston installed for movement. Antechamber communicates with main combustion chamber formed by piston crown and cylinder walls. Spark plug and fuel feed valve of supply source are installed in antechamber. Valve controls metered out delivery of fuel according to mode of operation of exhaust and intake valves. Intake valve is installed in main line along which air is fed into main combustion chamber. Metered out amount of fuel gets into bath made in bottom part of cup-shaped housing turned into crankcase so that its bottom part is in combustion chamber. Heavily enriched fuel-air mixture is ignited by spark in inner volume of cup-shaped housing which provides explosion and instantaneous forcing out of fuel, in aerosol form, from bath into combustion chamber with subsequent swirling of mixture.
