FIELD: hydroelectric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power unit has floating platform mounting piston pumps and turning levers with counterweights and water energy; turning levers are hinged to platform and coupled with pump rods. It also has hydropower set and trash rack; three-arm angle turning levers have their upper arms hinged to pump rods; counterweight is installed on one of arms; water energy accumulator is made in the form of drum hinged to lower arm of angle lever and kinematically linked with angle lever stops; drum is built up of parallel main and additional planar blades joined together by means of stiffening members; main planar blade is provided with longitudinal projection; water energy accumulator is kinematically linked with angle lever stops through blade-shaped single-arm lever mounted on drum shaft and joined through rod with two-arm levers engageable with stops.
