FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of invention is related to wind and hydrodynamic power engineering. Method for utilisation of medium flow energy includes installation of multivane or multiblade rotor in flow, which is connected to consumer of its driving torque, and also installation of deflectors around rotor, which deflect medium flow with generation of tangential component of its speed vector to external circle circumscribed by rotor vanes in process of its rotation. Deflector is arranged in the form of voluminous structure, which may represent building, or structure, or facility, or vessel deckhouse. Voluminous deflector is installed next to rotor and is arranged so that either its external walls or its external surfaces would have section on the rotor side in plane perpendicular to rotor, and this section would contain two lines converge to form sharp angle, at that specified voluminous deflector is oriented relative to rotor so that point of specified lines crossing or point of specified lines continuation crossing would be located not farther than 0.6 of rotor radius from external circle circumscribed by rotor vanes in process of its rotation. Besides specified voluminous deflector is oriented relative to rotor so that to deflect and shape flow of rolling in moving medium with creation of nonzero flow speed vector tangential component to specified circle circumscribed by rotor vanes in process of its rotation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of energy generation.
