The axial size of the reduction gear is a minimum and defined only by the width of the gear wheels of the shafts. Slots 11 and 12 are used for introducing shaft 9 into housing 1 when the reduction gear is assembled. Bearings 6 and 7 are mounted on shaft 9 and in sockets 4 and 5.
