FIELD: protection of optoelectronic systems of various application against the effect of radiation of continuous wave and frequency-pulsed lasers. SUBSTANCE: the device uses a sealed chamber with an opening for installation of the optical system and with a transparent window for inlet of radiation. The chamber is furnished with a rocker fastened on a suspension, reference source of luminous radiation, fixed support and a lightproof partition. The rocker arms are connected to a rotary mirror and a counterweight. The counterweight working surface is optically integrated with the reference source, and the back surface of the counterweight is engageable with the stop up to the moment of action of laser radiation. The lightproof partition protects the rotary mirror against the effect of radiation of the reference source. Device operation is based on transformation of mechanical pressure of laser radiation to an angle of deflection of the rotary mirror from the initial position. The relation between the dose rates of radiations falling on the rotary mirror and counterweight is given, which ensures automatic actuation (switching-off) of protection in the presence (absence) of laser radiation. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
