WORKING MEDIUM FLOW GOVERNOR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas, oil refining, chemical industries, mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use under conditions when working medium has foreign inclusions in its mix. Proposed flow governor has case with inlet and outlet flanges and partition forming inlet and outlet cavities inside case, regulating element in the form of seat and plate coupled by means of rod to drive. Governor is inserted with cylindrical sleeve with perforation in its side surface. It passes through hole in partition. Disc is installed tightly in ball-like case. Plane of partition is located at angle of 45 deg with respect to axis of inlet and outlet flanges of case. Axis of sleeve is perpendicular to this axis. Plate on side of inlet cavity interacts with first piston and on side of outlet cavity - with second piston. Pistons are put on rod tightly and are fixed permanently. Governor is provided with facilities for protection of guiding surfaces of piston and feed of inhibitor of hydrate formation. EFFECT: expanded application field and improved functional reliability, reduced power consumption, prolonged service life and improved maintenance. 5 cl, 1 dwg
