Abstract RU 2159377 C1

FIELD: liquid main lines of liquid-propellant rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: flowmeter may be used on different machines and installations using liquid materials. Flowmeter has body provided with main inlet and outlet branch pipes. Front guide bushing is fixed inside front part of body. Guide bushing has front throttle holes and transverse partition. Internal space of front guide bushing limited by transverse partition forms inlet cavity communicating directly with main branch pipe. Sleeve is positioned coaxially with front guide bushing. Sleeve is coupled kinematically with drive of its forced movement along the above-indicated bushing for overlapping of front throttle holes Rear guide bushing is fixed inside body coaxially with front guide bushing, walls of which are provided with outlet throttle holes. Slide valve is positioned between partition and rear guide bushing. Slide valve is made as moving piston with skirt. Piston forms piston cavity along with transverse partition. Piston is spring-loaded relative to rear guide bushing and is mounted for contact with transverse partition. Flow-through cavity is formed between body and front and rear guide bushings. This cavity couples inlet cavity with outlet branch pipe through front and outlet throttle holes. Piston skirt is provided with holes positioned for coupling of cavity formed by this skirt and flow-through cavity. Rear part of skirt is mounted loosely on rear guide bushing for overlapping of outlet throttle holes on that bushing. Flowmeter is provided additionally with return valve and adjusting throttle. The latter is arranged in channel which couples inlet cavity with flow-through cavity. Body is fitted with auxiliary inlet branch pipe mounted in its front part and coupled with inlet cavity through inlet holes made in front guide bushing. Forced-motion sleeve embraces external surface of bushing. Return valve is mounted in main inlet branch pipe from side of inlet cavity. Partition is provided with holes for coupling of inlet cavity with piston cavity. Flowmeter supply from auxiliary inlet branch pipe may be changed over to supply from main inlet branch pipe.
