FIELD: pressure differential regulators; water heating units. SUBSTANCE: proposed pressure differential regulator has housing with inlet and outlet holes, cover, diaphragm, loading spring with bearing members, rod with shutoff member and outlet pressure and back pressure chambers. Housing has flow and regulating sections in form of lower and upper housings; rod is passed into cover through diaphragm having toroidal working surface with through passage and throttle valve; shut-off member is made in form of spool valve articulated on rod through dampening member and engageable with inner surface of guide rigidly fitted through seal in lower housing and connected with flow section of housing by means of thread. Cover is tightly secured in upper housing of regulating section and bearing member is mounted in cover through seal forming hermetic intermediate chamber between it and end of rod passed through diaphragm; said end of rod is engageable with loading spring. Intermediate chamber is connected with inlet hole by means of passage or rod. Secured on outer surface of cover are information dial and knob with notch. On side of inlet hole of flow section of housing, pipe union with drain valve is mounted.
