FIELD: television engineering. SUBSTANCE: television signal coming from source is frequency modulated within frequency range of 38±8 MHz. This is performed by supplying video signal, modulated audio signal at carrier frequency of 7.3 MHz, and frequency pre-modulated signal at carrier frequency of 6.5 MHz holding information about defaulters to frequency modulator simultaneously. Then this total signal is summed up with open TV signals transmitted to subscriber's decoder over cable distribution system, and perform revers action by frequency detection method. Separated video and audio signals are supplied to video and audio inputs of TV set, respectively, through paid-nonpaid switch. EFFECT: improved image quality at honest subscriber. 1 dwg
