FIELD: production of suitcases, baskets and like hand containers. SUBSTANCE: container has shaft with pair of wheels and handle facilitating movement of container along staircases. Each wheel has rim with flange or groove made in rim inner surface and central body. Three rollers are arranged circumferentially on flange in equally spaced relation. Annular slot or ridge is made in edge portion of each roller. One roller and central body are loosely positioned on shaft and two other rollers are mounted for rotation about central body. Container bottom is provided with auxiliary spring-loaded roller. Handle may be attached on shaft or may be positioned for rotation on shaft. EFFECT: increased convenience, simplified displacement of container along staircases and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
