FIELD: restorative plastic surgery; cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: hitherto cartilaginous costal transplants were used for restoring cartilaginous defects of nose ridge. Inventive novelty of proposed method resides in using for this purpose alae allocartilages, morphological structure of which is closer to that of cartilaginous tissues of patient's nose ridge than that of cartilaginous costal transplants. EFFECT: method offers number of advantages, viz smooth passage from defect onto healthy tissues; allocartilage tightly adjoins defect bottom; allocartilage experiences no shifts or deformations; minimum rate of postoperative inflammatory complications. 4 dwg
