FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out the first flap beginning near the columella base and transferred into through incision behind it to the lateral segment of alar cartilages. Two symmetrical tongue-shaped flaps are formed in upper lip region. The lower incisions of the tongue-shaped flaps are cut beginning from nose wing bases to the middle of the columella. The upper incision is continued into the nasal cavity behind medial regions of the alar cartilages cutting the lateral segment of the alar cartilage. Nasal wing helixes are separated and exposed. Skin flaps ends taken from upper lip are placed over the wound defect of the nasal wing helixes. The mobilized nasal wing helixes are placed on the wound defect of skin flap ends and wound edges are sutured together.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; prevented nose tip region flattening.
