FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves draining wound by applying tidal drainage with polyethylene tubes having increasing diameters set in series one inside the other. Physiological liquid with dialyzate temperature of 10-37 C is supplied through a tube beginning from one having the smallest diameter. Washing begins at the rate of 50-60 drops/min during the first two hours after the operative intervention then it continues depending on the individually marked degree of edema, the rest of the first day the washing process is carried out at the rate of 20-30 drops/min and each third hour the wound cavity is irrigated with jet. Then the washing rate is kept at 20-30 drops/min during the rest of the postoperative period and tubes of increasing diameters are used as removable colored members beginning with one having smaller diameter. To count the number of wound exudate cells before analysis, the removed tube is used . EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of postoperative wound treatment. 3 dwg
