FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines; exhaust gas cleaners. SUBSTANCE: device has reactor, temperature sensor, oxygen sensor installed at reactor outlet, control unit and current source (storage battery or standard generator of engine). Practically clear oxygen is delivered into reactor. Amount of oxygen is defined by current flowing between electrodes through wall of solid electrolyte dividing channels of air and exhaust gases. Irrespective of operating conditions of engine, control unit maintains preset temperature and amount of oxygen delivered into reactor by signals from temperature sensor and oxygen sensor. EFFECT: provision of high degree of exhaust gas cleaning at any operating conditions of engine. 2 cl, 3 dwg
