FIELD: treatment of fluid media. SUBSTANCE: treatment of fluid media in rotary pulsating apparatus is effected under conditions of additional acoustic action of staler on medium by oscillations of different frequency and amplitude. Frequency is regulated by number of revolutions of rotor and amplitude of action is regulated by moment of inertia of mass of disk of revolving rotor. Rotary pulsating apparatus includes housing where rotor and stator are mounted at spaced relation. Rotor and stator are provided with turbulizing members on surfaces facing each other. Stator is mounted at spaced relation to housing and is provided with at least one support point in central portion in area of rotation of rotor. Apparatus is provided with device for regulating the clearance between stator and rotor. Central part of stator may be made in form of taper or cylindrical ferrule provided with ports. Apparatus may be provided with additional stators on any side of rotor. Stator may possess different elasticity. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 13 cl, 14 dwg, 6 tbl
