FIELD: plastic metal working, namely hot forming of sheet blanks with use of resistance heating. SUBSTANCE: mutually opposite ends of blank jammed in current lead terminals-clamps are provided with cutouts. Said cutouts weaken blank and create conditions for closely clamping its opposite ends in said terminals- clamps. Close contact at electric current passing prevents overheating of blank. EFFECT: possibility of forming hard-to-form titanium alloys in presses with resistance heating. 3 dwg
