FIELD: precious metals recovery. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on pyrometallurgical processing of gold and silver-containing wastes. Initial material is fused with copper component added in quantity providing increase in partial pressure of vapor of harmful impurities over the fused material. Fused material is evacuated to 10-1-10-2 mm Hg and kept at 1100-1200 C under stirring for 20-30 min. According to invention, process is carried out in protective atmosphere.
