METHOD OF CONCEALMENT OF GROUND FACILITIES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2090827 C1

FIELD: means of radioelectronic fight and concealment, protection of important ground facilities against observation equipment, target detection, identification and lock-on systems for automatic tracking, mainly of structures based on concrete and cement, important lots of earth surface and other constructions by conversion of probing radiation of one spectral region to radiation of another spectral region. SUBSTANCE: method consists in application of substance dispersion onto the surface to be concealed converting the absorbed radiation to radiation of a higher wavelength in a solvent. Phosphor converting wavelength is used as the substance converting the absorbed radiation. Phosphor converting the absorbed radiation to radiation of another spectral region of electromagnetic radiation can be used as phosphor. Antistokes phosphor can be used as phosphor converting the absorbed radiation to radiation of another spectral region of a lower wavelength. Use can be made of phosphor dispersion with the particles size not exceeding 9 mm. Prior to application of phosphor dispersion, concealing pigment may be introduced to it. Phosphor dispersing may be accomplished in an aqueous solution. Phosphor dispersion in aqueous solution may be prepared at a content of phosphor not exceeding 0.5 mass percent of the phosphor mass. Concealing pigment may be introduced to phosphor dispersion by dispersion of concealing pigment in an aqueous solution. After application of phosphor dispersion onto the concealing surface dispersion of concealing pigment in an aqueous solution may be applied, the content of concealing pigment not exceeding 13.5 mass percent. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness. 9 cl
