SUBSTANCE: device has a cathode in the form of a graphite cup with an active layer, for instance BaCO3, CaCO3, CO3, applied onto its interior surface, positioned in a refractory electric-insulated tube fastened in a metal body, and an anode in the form of a rod with a spherical bulging at the end facing the cup bottom and installed at a distance of 1-2 mm from it and positioned in a refractory electric-insulated tube installed inside the cathode; the negative terminal of the power source is connected to the cathode, and the positive terminal - to the anode via the measuring circuit load. EFFECT: expanded field of application for measurement of high temperatures, enhanced accuracy of measurement, simplified procedure of calibration. 3 dwg
