FIELD: seismic prospecting in water areas. SUBSTANCE: two pneumatic source as minimum are anchored with their pistons in threaded protrusions located on outer surface of tank. Space of mentioned tank accommodating reserve of compressed air communicates with spaces above pistons of two interacting pneumatic sources with the aid of relief windows of pistons. Pneumatic sources are attached as group to one tank of reserve of compressed air, they have pressure from 100 to 150 atm and increase in case of simultaneous operation power of emitted seismic signal formed by momentary loss of tightness of large volume of tank in underwater position which intensifies powerful seismic pulse. Summing of action of specified standard pneumatic sources on one tank forms point source of seismic signals of high power and low frequency. EFFECT: increased efficiency of gear. 5 cl, 1 dwg
