FIELD: seismic studies in water areas, geophysical prospecting. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic source of signals has rod fitted with pistons, cylinder mobile along axes of pistons, electric-pneumatic valve and conduits to supply compressed air from space of electric-pneumatic valve to butt of cylinder. Compressed air conduits are interconnected by means of circular groove which is made in ring shoulder of one of pistons ands/or butt of cylinder.
