FIELD: filtering liquids in various hydraulic systems. SUBSTANCE: filter has housing and filter element mounted coaxially relative to housing. Taper bush mounted concentrically between housing and filter element with its narrow portion downward forms two circular passages between bottoms of housing and filter element which are connected by means of cavity between bottoms of housing and filter element. Ascending flow passage widens in way of liquid flow. Bottom of housing which connects it with sediment chamber and bottom of filter element have curvilinear profiles which ensure continuous widening of liquid in chamber between them and smooth change of descending flow into ascending flow.
