FIELD: separation of suspensions and drying of filtering sediment. SUBSTANCE: filter-drier has cylindrical conical housing with suspension supply branch pipe, cover with filtrate discharge branch pipe, filter cartridges mounted in housing, flat bottom with branch pipe for complete discharge of filtrate, filtering partition located above inner side of bottom, heat-exchange jacket, unloading device and agitator whose speed and sense of rotation may be changed; besides that, agitator is mounted for sliding over surface of filtering partition and inner lateral surface of taper portion of housing.
