FIELD: ore beneficiation practice; recovery of finely dispersed particles of heavy fractions, predominantly gold values. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises impeller made of elastic material and having annular partitions forming plurality of pocket-like compartments. Apparatus further comprises means for charging feed material and vessels adapted to receive separation products. Apparatus also comprises means for deforming impeller wall, e.g. in form of rollers mounted outside of impeller, in immediate contact therewith, rollers being displaceable in radial direction.
