FIELD: gravitational concentration of minerals; extraction of gold and heavy minerals from raw materials at low content of gold and heavy minerals. SUBSTANCE: concentrator includes housing mounted for vibration and device for loading starting material and unloading light and heavy fractions. Housing is provided with taper screen which consists of discs arranged concentrically at spaced relation to each other; discs are assembled in stacks which are mounted in isolated compartments of housing. Compartments are equipped with pipe lines fitted with cocks which are used to adjust pressure of working medium in each compartment. Device for unloading the heavy fraction is made in the form of branch pipe engageable with vertex of screen taper surface and provided with locking device mounted for vertical motion which is necessary for periodic unloading of heavy fraction.
