HOT FORGING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: plastic metal working, namely hot forging of parts such as blanks of satellite of differentials of rear-axle assembly of motor vehicles. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes charging mechanism having feeder, clamps, arranged under said feeder support with horizontal surface. Apparatus also includes punch, die and knocking out member for shaping, punch and die for blanking bottom, spring- loaded stripper, transfer mechanism with transportation guide, pneumatic cushion and cooling system. Apparatus is provided with pusher that may be inserted into said spring- loaded stripper and into clamps. Charging mechanism provides possibility of liberating port between outlet opening of feeder and support. Said support includes inclined plane; outlet opening of feeder is arranged over horizontal and inclined planes of said support. Die for blanking bottom includes C-shaped through opening and it is mounted on said transportation guide with possibility of embracing said knocking out member, engagement with shaping die and rotation. Cooling system is in the form of ducts and spraying holes made in pusher. EFFECT: improved design. 12 dwg
