EXTENSIBLE STOPPER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: storage of substances; sealing of glass vessels. SUBSTANCE: extensible stopper has cover fitted on vessel neck, flexible material collar engaging with inner surface of neck, base in form of truncated cone arranged inside collar and cup rigidly coupled with base. Cup has also shape of truncated cone. Stopper has also aligning screw with thrust head passing through cover and coupled with base for displacement. Thrust head of screw is arranged in cup for free rotation. It is expedient to make recess in upper part of cover whose shape should be identical to shape of vessel bottom and to connect cover with collar by means of circular shaped slot and circular projection arranged in slot.
