FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes novel cephalosporin derivatives of formula 1: in which R1 is hydrogen or amino group protecting radical; R2 and R3 are hydrogen or hydroxy protecting radical, or taken together they form cyclic diol protecting group; R4 and R5 are hydrogen or carboxy protecting radical; X and Y are nitrogen and carbon or carbon and nitrogen, respectively; R6 and R7 are independently hydrogen, amino group, substituted amino group, alkoxy group, C1-C4 alkyl, carboxy or alkoxycarbonyl, or together with carbon atom to which they are attached, they form C3-C7 cycloalkyl when X and Y are nitrogen and carbon respectively; or R7 is hydrogen or amino group when X and Y are carbon and nitrogen, respectively; and Q is =CH- or=N-, or pharmaceutically acceptable non-toxic salts thereof, physiologically hydrolizable esters hydrates and solvates and isomers thereof have wide spectrum of high antibacterial activity.
