FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: method consists in hydrofining of straight-run gasoline or its mixture with coking gasoline in presence of catalyst containing 2.0-4.0 wt % nickel oxide and 12.0-15.0 wt % molybdenum oxide on alumina at elevated temperature and pressure with subsequent catalytic reforming. The latter is performed by preliminarily separating initial gasoline distillate into two fractions with boiling ranges 25(60)- 80(120) C and 80(120)-160(185) C and subjecting the second fraction to hydrofining with subsequent catalytic reforming, produced reformat being then mixed with the first fraction in weight ratio from 99:1 to 80:20. EFFECT: improved antiknock characteristic. 3 cl
