SUBSTANCE: in a method of making solid soap including saponification of fatty acid mixture by caustic alkalis, salting-out, fitting, settling, removal of under-soap lye and adhesive, introducing superfatting substances, drying soap base obtained, introducing prescribed additives, and mechanical processing, when being saponified, mixture of fatty acids is supplemented with 0.05-5% glycerol based on weight of fatty acids and, as superfatting substance, fatty acids are utilized, ratio of fatty acids to free alkali contained in soap base ranging from 30:1 to 0.5:1.
