FIELD: soap-boiling industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to methods of producing household soap from neutral vegetable oils. According to method, prepared is soap-fat emulsion from non-hydrogenated liquid oils. Then, effected is stage-by-stage saponification of fats with solution of sodium hydrate, salting-out of soap glue by means of electrolyte with subsequent separation of soap core and yielding of commercial soap. Introduced at stage of saponification is sodium silicate. Application of aforesaid method allows for producing cheaper kinds of soap with reduced swelling and giving no harmful effect on skin of hands and on fabrics.
