METHOD OF EROSION PERFORATION AND DOWNHOLE EROSION PERFORATOR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2091566 C1

FIELD: well erosion perforation, particular, perforation treatment of formation through oil producing wells. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes running into well of deflecting tool on injection string of tubing, making hole in wall of casing string, introduction into made hole of flexible tubular probe with nozzle on lower end and hydraulic drive, injection of fluid at pressure to probe hollow and breakage of formation rock by hydraulic jets advancing of probe inside formation as channel is formed. Hole in casing string is made by electrochemical solution of metal. For this purpose, after lowering of deflecting tool, introduced into its channel is flexible electrically insulated current lead. Electrolyte is circulated in casing string with current supplied through electrolyte. After producing hole in casing string wall, current lead is removed from well. The downhole erosion perforator includes body - deflecting tool with curved channel. Its upper inlet is made to be located on axis of injecting string of tubing. Lower outlet is made to be directed onto side surface of well. Perforator has flexible current lead with current conducting tip. Current lead may be connected with load-carrying electric cable and with limiting stop of current lead extension and installed at distance from tip to provide for its location in deflecting tool outlet. Flexible tubular probe is retrievable and has hydraulic drive. It is made in form of container perforated in upper part and partition with seal. Hollow rod passes through seal and is connected with flexible tubular probe. Deflecting tool is made of dielectric material and cross-section of its guide channel exceeds cross-section of current lead. EFFECT: higher efficiency of the offered method of erosion perforation of formation and increased operate reliability of erosion perforator. 2 cl, 3 dwg
