FIELD: X-ray - TV quality inspection of welds and cast parts, mainly with large difference in thickness. SUBSTANCE: inspected article is exposed to X-ray radiation, signal is accumulated on target of X-ray vidicon, X-ray radiation is transformed to videosignal forming optical image in the form of frame on screen of receiving TV tube. There are formed several TV frames with different time of accumulation of information on target of X-ray vidicon. Synthesized image of inspected articles is formed after processing of each of produced TV frames and after their subsequent summing up. Optimal time of information accumulation is found by formula.
